Meet The Herd
Our goats are Nigerian Dwarf Goats; they have the sweetest gentle disposition with a little spunk. All of our goats are named with a name suited to their unique personality, a few of the goats even know their names when called!
The Nigerian Goat breed originated from African goats imported to the US in the 1930’s. Originally used as exhibition animals in zoos. The Nigerian Dwarf Goats come in all colors and pattern combinations. Making it really fun come kidding season to see what the new little kids look like. Our dairy herd gives us the most creamy milk, high in butterfat and makes some of the best ice cream!
We use their milk in our handcrafted goats milk soaps! We believe a happy goat is a healthy goat and it is our great privilege to provide these goats a happy life with humane, sustainable, Holistic approach.
We recently added a Jersey cow to the farm. Our Jerseys love romping around the fields looking for the most tasty grass. They give us A2A2 milk that is rich and oh so creamy. We take the Jersey milk and culture it into yogurt and kefir and use it in our unique handcrafted milk soaps. It has been said that yogurt and kefir can benefit the skin by lightning, moisturizing, soothing, and tightening. Whether or not it does all that, it is a very luxurious addition to any bath. Just like with the goats our Jerseys are given only the very best with the same natural practices.
